End of the Road

I am looking at the clock on my computer screen as I type, and there are technically less than 45 minutes left of this health challenge.  You've all been so wonderful and supportive.  Thanks for putting up with my periodic whining and struggles with my imperfections.  I've loved seeing all the successes and trials we've all gone through in the last 2 months.  Having a team like all of you has made a huge difference for me.  Good luck tomorrow with your point reports, weigh-ins, measurements, and total weight loss percentage calculations.  It's going to be a tight one, but I am really hoping that we can pull it out with some big numbers.  GO BLUE!

WINNERS!!

WAY TO GO TEAM!
I love to look and see the Blue team in first place!
I'm looking forward to seeing the final results next week!  I'm nervous because, like Kali said "It's still any one's game!
I love getting on the scale these days, and seeing the numbers going down!  What a great feeling!
I got a new shirt last week, and it is 4 sizes smaller, same with my Jeans. So exciting!!
I know that with this challenge, I haven't seen a big difference in my body image, and to me that's discouraging,  but losing weight and being healthy has a lot of different aspects to it.  I know that my clothes are so much looser and when I measured myself it's amazing how I've lost a lot of inches from everywhere. My doctor said that sometimes when you loose a lot of weight quickly, you won't see a big difference in your appearance, because your body has to play catch up,  but when you look at the weight loss and inches, that's more important. I laughed and said "I want it ALL, I want to see the scale go down, I want to see myself looking skinner, and I want my clothes  to fit and my body to feel better.
My co-worker commented when I went back to work Monday, how much more weight I had lost over the Holidays, so maybe I just don't see the difference because I see myself everyday. She calls me the Amazing shrinking lady.
I'm thankful to be on a supportive team!  You are all Great!
I Hope your all hanging in there with the bonus challenge, it seems like White flour is in all "yummy" things :)
Have a great rest of the week!!

I hope we did okay this week. I know you've all been working your tails off and this team deserves to win.  I'm always a little antsy before the Wednesday post.

Final Lap - Here we go!

Now we're at the end this challenge and I am so happy with how well our team has done! You guys are the best!
I am ready to give my all this week and really go for it! I'm not having a snack day and I'm going to do an extra 15 minutes on exercise days. I haven't been losing anything the past two weeks so I am going to try to really push this time. Let's make a great week!

more small successes

I'm wearing my skinny jeans today, the ones I could wear before my thyroid got messed up a few years ago. I fished them out from a box under the bed this morning.

Happy New Year to me.

And to you. Thanks for your inspiration and support.
Have a great night!
